While playing unlike professional ones hobbyist look for a shuttle which is more durable and pocket friendly. This  is  the sole reason why hobbyists end up  preferring nylon-shuttles over feather shuttles. Though nylon shuttles are not comparable to feathered ones in terms of control and overall playing experience  but in terms of speed and durability, they tend to overshadow their counterparts. Here we will discuss about 5 best nylon shuttlecocks available in India.

1.Yonex Mavis 350

This yellow birdie is one of the most famous and loved nylon shuttlecocks worldwide. It is usually the first choice  shuttle for indoor environments. With a wooden-cork base it's weight distribution is quite similar to that of feather ones. Mavis-350 offers the closest experience to playing with goose or duck birdies. It offers best shuttle recovery timing of 0.02 seconds in the nylon range, this makes it a frontrunner even in outdoor conditions. 2. Victor NS-2000

Victor is not a usual brand in Indian subcontinent but this exact product of theirs NS-2000 is quite popular at semi-pro and amateur level. Victor NS-2000 comes with a wooden cork similar to that of M-350/300, giving a good playing experience  even in slightly windy outdoor conditions. It is considered as a cheaper alternative of M-350 for training purposes. Victor NS-2000 holds and edge over NS-3000  due to its higher durability and stability in outdoors. Their available variants are exactly same as that of Mavis 350 ie. Slow, Medium and Fast.

3. Yonex Mavis 300

Yet another Yonex product in list, such is the quality Yonex delivers. Mavis 3XX series is already  a trustworthy name in Indian badminton circuit, this specific product is highly recommended for intermediate and amateur levels. Stable flight trajectory and shuttle recovery time similar to that of M-350 makes it an ideal choice. I personally experienced M-300 to be an hybrid of M-350 and M-10, as it posses  experience  quite similar to 350 and durability similar to that of 10. Though this product is excellent but its availability in Indian markets is quite rare, you might have to depend on online platforms for getting it, at higher rates of course.

4. COSCO - 787

Though COSCO shuttles are recommended at bare beginners level but this standard grade COSCO Aero-787 is a strong competitor to above more liked options. COSCO as company delivers perfect pocket friendly and durable products and 787 is no different from others, it is one of cork based products from COSCO. It's  per piece cost is almost half of  M-350  and performance wise it is at par with M-300. Being the cheaper option and very readily available in domestic markets, it holds a good fanbase in beginner  segment. I personally recommend this product to those who are currently using other COSCO shuttles.

5. Yonex Mavis 10

Here comes the people's favorite and only non-wooden cork based shuttle in the list. Mavis 10 shuttlecock is designed to give  best performance and durability. New and advanced nylon material at shuttle skirt and precise YONEX manufacturing  gives feather like experience and flight  characteristics. It is most durable and easily acquirable product in Indian market, It is lighter than other listed products and good for smashing practice with accuracy and control.
